Born in Sao Paulo, with 39 years, 18 of them as an art director, André Gola has his work in advertising recognized by a plenty of national and international awards.
In 2011, Gola rediscovered the pleasure of drawing. The style of his work appeared naturally influenced by some references, his life history and reflections of what he sees and lives.
His simple drawings on different platforms involve the imagination of everyone and seek reflections on life or just a laugh.
His cartoons are published in The Beach journal and recently, his series about the World Cup in Brazil 2014 and Olympic Games 2016, was highlighted in the website of the British newspaper The Guardian.
