B. 1995 Toronto Canada, Evan Hudson is a London based artist. After becoming frustrated with the overly academic nature of fine art school, Hudson dropped out to begin working/painting full-time and collaborating with other artists. Through the combination of sculpture and painting he touches on themes of absurdity, surrealism, and the uncanny while referencing motifs from modern life and art history. Since, he has exhibited across North America and Europe with his eccentric and playful “protrusive paintings’ and sculptures.
Artist Statement : ”To succeed in an Escape Room be sure to thoroughly search through the entire space. Look for hints and clues among the paintings and sculptures. The work can provide context for existential puzzles in and outside of the room. Communication is vital for your success, share observations with your teammates and listen to their thoughts. Together you may come to conclusions that lead to your escape. Take your time and most importantly, have fun. Good luck.”
