'Human After All' Group Show

Moosey is pleased to present Human After All, a group exhibition curated by Alex Smith, bringing together six contemporary artists: Alejandra Moros, Alexandra Searle, Alice E Miller, Billy Gibney, Izzie Beirne, and Jesse Zuo.

Spanning painting and sculpture, the works in Human After All engage with the complex relationship between the physical and the psychological. Across each practice, the body appears in fragments. It is cropped, distorted, blurred, dismembered, bound. At times, viewed in telescopic detail; at others, it is abstracted to the point of becoming something else entirely. At the heart of the exhibition is a shared interest in how experience is carried in the body, and how it shapes not only how we move through the world, but how we come to understand it, ourselves and one another. Viewers are invited to consider the body not just as image or object, but as lived experience—flawed, vulnerable, beautiful and inescapably human.
