Erik Foss

In his shadowy yet rainbow-filled airbrushed canvases, scratchy pencil drawings of Mickey Mouse and fellow cartoons, and somewhat haunting totem-like collages, he plays with collisions of American iconography. He illumines symbols of consumerism, middle-America, nightlife, and death — all with the persevering innocence of following your dreams relentlessly, as we are taught to do in America.
